"All I want for Christmas is YOU." Okay, I'd be a filthy hypocrite if I say that line. 'Cause truth be told, I have tons of stuff on my Christmas 2011 wishlist. Hell, I don't even have anyone in mind in the YOU-part. Ha ha! Bawal ang kontra-bulate dito!!! Anyways, saying that line every Yuletide gets tiring, you know. I guess a little improvement won't hurt. Here's what I want for Christmas.
To my mom & dad, siblings, relatives, ninongs & ninangs, best friends, friends, secret & not-so-secret admirers (SABEHHHH?? JK!), and to those who have kind hearts, listen, er, read very carefully. ☺
1. Books. I always, always, always have books on my wishlist - birthday, Christmas, and whatnot. You know how much I love them. I crave 'em all the time. This holidays, I really wanna receive Rick Riordan's The Son of Neptune. It's the second book of The Heroes of Olympus Series. Yes, it's a children's book. I don't care if it is. Why, the best books in the world are children's books - Harry Potter. If you're a reader of this blog, you know I am in a long-term relationship with Mythology so it's no surprise that I want this novel. It's been a couple of months since The Son of Neptune's launching and I have yet to purchase a copy. God, I have been broke since time immemorial. I can always read it through ebooks, of course, but I don't want to ruin my collection. You can find a copy in National Bookstore, PowerBooks, and any other bookstores here in the P.I. It's Php395.
Anyhow, you can also give me other books. It's up to you. Surprise me! Hihi! You can check my The Bookworm page so you will have an idea on the kind of books I read and the genres that interest me. ☺
2. Harry Potter: The Complete 8-Film Collection, Ravenclaw Shirt, Hallows Ring & Necklace, and Everything Harry Potter. I don't need to tell you how much I ship HP. I breathe it. Damn, I live it! Now, I know hoping that someone would give me the first thing on that clip is kinda futile. The 8-Film collection is real pricey. Man, it's Harry Potter, the worldwide phenomenon. Of course it's pricey. The set includes eight Blu-ray discs containing the eight Potter films and special features like interviews, behind-the-scenes, and whatnot. It's a real must-have for Potterheads like me. The boxed set costs $139. Ha ha! So, you see, wishing for it really is futile. But hey, cut me some slack, this is a wishlist. Wish. Something possible but improbable. :P
Ravenclaw is my house, so naturally, I want a Ravenclaw shirt. But you know, any Potter shirt would do. Or any memorabilia, at that. There's this online shop called Dream a Little More (DLM) which sells Harry Potter shirts and tote bags. Their products are awesome. And cheap, if I may add. I also wanna have HP accessories like that ring and necklace on the picture. Sadly, though, I can't find a shop that sells such things. Maybe you can help me. I'd be really grateful. :)
3. Hunger Games Memorabilia. I am a huge fan of Suzanne Collin's Hunger Games Trilogy. I can't even tell you how excited I am for the first movie. It's been more than a year since I first read its first installment and would you believe that I have read the whole series four times now? That's how much I love it. A lot of people are joining the bandwagon now. The Hunger Games is so popular that the whole world freaked out when they launched its official movie trailer. Anyways, I have been looking for a Mockingjay pin and a Mockingjay necklace since last year but as if all the districts of Panem are conspiring against me I can't find one. So, for the second year, they're on my wishlist. ☺
4. Katy Perry Nail Lacquer set, I Eat Mainely Lobster Nail Lacquer and French Quarter for Your Thoughts Nail Lacquer from OPI. OPI produces the best nail polish ever! I have tried it a couple of times. I love that they have a huge variety of colors to choose from and that their nail lacquers don't easily, er, detach (?). I also like the nail polish from MAC but I like OPI better. I have always wanted Katy Perry's collection. It's so cool, especially when you topped it with the Black Shatter. I like Not Like the Movies and The One That Got Away best. It's just that, OPI products are pretty expensive. It's so not practical to buy a bottle. :(
5. MAC's Russian Red Lipstick, Pretty Please Lipstick, Double Spin Glitter and Ice Lipstick, Whirls and Twirls Glitter and Ice Lipstick, and Happy Hibiscus Sheen Supreme Lipstick. I am a sucker for lipsticks. Especially ones of the red and pink variety.
6. Eye and Brow Liners and Waterproof Mascara from Maybelline New York. For me, Maybelline New York offers the best eye products. I don't usually go full blast when it comes to make-up. With just powder, a little blush ('cause I'm so white, I look pale) and lipstick/gloss and I am good to go. I still have a complete set of cosmetics, tho. You know, just in case I need them. And yes, when I feel like I want to doll up.
7. Pink Aviator-Style Wayfarers. I just want one. I think it looks cool. Cooler than my traditional sunglasses and black aviator-style wayfarers. ☺
8. Cardigans. I am a big fan of cardigans. I think Forever 21 offers the best. ☺

9. Lame Tops, Cute Dresses, Sheer and Lace Tops. I don't know why but sheer and lace really appeal to me. Even before they weren't a hot fad yet. I love the clothes from Tomato and Forever 21. They're simple yet stylish and fab. The clothes are very comfortable to wear. And the best thing is, they are very much affordable. ☺
You know, I don't expect to receive a lot this holiday season. Heck, I don't even expect to receive any. It's just so fun to make a list of the things you want. They say dream on. And for the life of me, I will. And I will dream big. This Christmas, I just want people to remember and greet me personally. I mean, not through group messages on Facebook, Twitter or texts. I love cheesy and mushy messages. I love it when I receive personal messages from my loved ones. I guess that's what I really want. To feel loved during the holidays. I think it's the best gift one can get. ♥

All I want for Christmas is a new Kindle, because I lost my favorite device :(( The funny thing is that I downloaded ten eBooks from All you can books with one day before this "tragic" event. But I hope I'll get a new one until next year, because I want to sign up for the 100 books challenge in one year and I need to have it... I don't want to have a heavy bag.
