The Son of Neptune

After 8 hours, 47 minutes and 32 seconds, I finished reading Rick Riordan's The Son of Neptune. It's The Heroes of Olympus's second installment. I really don't wanna read it through my phone but life left me with no choice. I still haven't got the book. I was desperate. Really desperate. I wanted to read it badly. So I did, using an ebook. Anyways . . .

I missed Perseus Jackson an awful lot! He's as hilarious as ever. Something Jason Grace would never be. Percy really is the coolest demigod, like, EVER! Not to mention his powers. ☺

I loved the book a lot. It was action-packed. There were lots of revelations and they were explained real well. Almost everything is now crystal clear. I was kinda disappointed with the ending, tho. It was a cliff-hanger. (Imagine me whining and pouting like a child while reading this part.) Just when I thought Percy and Annabeth will be reunited and I was reading as fast I could muster, I reached the end of the novel. I seriously stomped my foot out of frustration. Now, I have to wait for 10 months for the third book of the series, The Mark of Athena. I am hella sure it is going to feature Annabeth more than any other demigod. :)

P.S. Though I have already read The Son of Neptune, I still want to have the actual book. I don't want to ruin my collection. You can give me a copy as a post-Christmas present. Tee-hee. :P
